The horrid state of affairs we currently reside in has driven me beyond my capacity to believe what I am seeing on more than one occasion. As an intellectual girl and academic mind, if I am approached with something of this nature, I recognise my immediate anger and depression for what it is almost right away, seek out those closest to me in order to stabilise…and then move forward accordingly, adjusting my worldview as necessary in order to accomodate for a changing social environment.
The more that horrible things happen one after the other, day after day…the more I realise we are slipping from bright daytime into The Twilight Zone; that which was once satire is now reality, that which was once unthinkable is daily life…and that which was once impossible is now standard-issue.
For millennia, humans existed in small-scale societies and either lived as stationary tribes or as warring nomads. In the past several hundred years, all of this has changed in incalculable ways…and the world along with it; this is not the first time the “post-world” has come upon us, for humans have lived through world after world after world, transitioning from “new world” to “world” to “post-world” and back to “new world” all over again. Thus, I am not one to scream “the end is near.” Rather, the conclusion I have come to is that the world we now live in is the “post-world.” Nothing is as it used to be and it never will be again.
All of my studies have led me to believe that those of us who believe in the future are the ones who shall inherit the “post-world” and carry it into the “new world.” This having been said, I am of the “post-world;” I am not one to give up on the human species and the survival of me and my own without the biggest fight I can possibly put up.
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious

The twilight of the old age is upon us and the dawn of a new age is right ahead. We are now in the fight for our lives. It is time to hunker down and prepare.
